Our time in Valensole may be coming to an end, but the next chapter of our journey is nothing short of extraordinary. After a final breakfast at the hotel, we’ll check out and set off toward one of the most thrilling highlights of the entire workshop—photographing the majestic white horses of Camargue.
Our route takes us southwest through changing landscapes until we arrive at Aigues-Mortes, a beautifully preserved medieval town surrounded by fortress walls in the heart of the Camargue region. We’ll enjoy a relaxed lunch in the historic town square, followed by some time to explore, photograph, and soak in the atmosphere of this ancient village.
Later in the afternoon, we check in to our hotel and regroup for an introductory session on horse photography. We’ll cover essential camera settings, lens choices, safety tips, and creative composition techniques to ensure you’re fully prepared for the evening’s shoot.
Then, it’s time. We’ll make our way to a secret beach location, where our elegant white horse models await us. The session begins in the shallow waters, capturing poetic reflections and soft light. As the light lowers, we’ll move to the open sands where the horses will gallop through the surf, manes flying, hooves splashing—the ultimate test of timing, focus, and photographic skill.
Throughout the shoot, our team will be there to guide, support, and help you get the absolute best out of your gear and creativity. As the sun dips below the horizon, we’ll return to the hotel with memory cards full of unforgettable moments and hearts full of awe.
