The City of Light –

Paris Photography Workshop

Timeless Landmarks & Blue Hour Magic — A 4-Day Photography Escape in the City of Light

This isn’t just a city break. It’s four unforgettable days of photographing Paris at its most elegant: sunrise silhouettes, golden-hour façades, and iconic views that belong in a portfolio.

From the Eiffel Tower to the symmetry of the Louvre, the grandeur of Pont Alexandre III, and the breathtaking Notre Dame — this workshop is designed to help you capture Paris with intention, style, and confidence.

One city. Four days.

Description

Paris Photography Workshop is a 4-day photography experience created for photographers who want to slow down, work with the best light, and return home with refined, timeless images of one of the world’s most photogenic cities.

A rhythm designed for light, creativity & connection

This workshop follows the natural rhythm of the city and the light.
Early mornings reward us with quiet streets and soft tones, while evenings are dedicated to golden light, blue hour and the magic that only Paris can offer after dark.
In between, there is time to rest, review images, learn and simply enjoy being in one of the most photogenic cities in the world.

Led by three professional photography guides, you’ll learn how to master composition, perspective, light, and exposure—especially during sunrise, sunset, and blue hour when Paris truly comes alive. We’ll visit iconic landmarks as well as carefully selected viewpoints that elevate your images beyond the standard tourist shot.

This is not a rushed checklist tour. It’s an immersive, hands-on workshop with guidance in the field and supportive review moments—so you grow fast and shoot with confidence.

Daily Itinerary

Day 1 – Friday, 3rd July

Arrival in Paris • Meet & Greet • Welcome Dinner • Eiffel Tower

Welcome to Paris — a city of light, layers and endless photographic inspiration. After arriving and settling into our hotel, you’ll have time to unpack your gear, recharge and let the excitement of the days ahead sink in. In the early evening, we come together for a relaxed start to the workshop. We’ll go over camera settings, discuss shooting in urban environments and talk about intention. What draws you to Paris? What kind of images do you hope to take home? Around 19:00, we enjoy our first group dinner, a perfect moment to connect with fellow photographers and ease into the experience together. After dinner, we head straight into the city for our first sunset and blue hour shoot. We begin at Pont des Arts, photographing towards the illuminated Eiffel Tower. As the light fades, we continue to the Louvre, capturing late sunset and blue hour around the iconic pyramid — reflections, symmetry and Parisian night atmosphere.

Day 2 – Saturday, 4th July

Trocadéro • Various Eiffel Tower Views • Sacre Coeur • Montmartre

We start early, when Paris is at its most peaceful. At sunrise, we photograph the Eiffel Tower from Trocadéro, including a secret viewpoint and river perspectives along the Seine. Soft morning light, clean compositions and minimal crowds make this one of the most rewarding moments of the workshop. After the shoot, we return to the hotel for breakfast and rest, allowing you to recharge before the next creative session. In the afternoon, we slow the pace. Depending on the group and energy, we focus on post-processing, refining your images and personal style, or head out for guided street photography. This is where observation, timing and storytelling come together. Around 19:00, we gather again for dinner — sharing images, stories and inspiration. As the sun begins to set, we move into Montmartre. We start near Sacré-Cœur, capturing golden hour views over Paris, before walking through the historic streets past La Maison Rose, Cabaret Lapin Agile, Buste Dalida, and ending at Le Consulat. An evening filled with atmosphere, character and timeless Parisian charm.

Day 3 – Sunday, 5th July

Pont Alexandre III • Musee de Orsay • Montparnasse

Our day begins before sunrise at the elegant Pont Alexandre III. We photograph during blue hour, focusing on symmetry, details and refined compositions, before continuing to the Musée d’Orsay to capture statues and architectural elements in soft morning light. After returning to the hotel for breakfast and rest, the afternoon is calm and reflective. We explore Les Invalides, focusing on classical architecture and details — or spend time reviewing and polishing your favorite images from the workshop. In the evening, we share our final group dinner around 19:00, a moment to reflect on the journey we’ve shared. We close the workshop with a final sunset shoot from the Montparnasse Tower. Watching the sun set over Paris from above, with the Eiffel Tower glowing in the distance, is a powerful and unforgettable ending to the experience.

Day 4 – Tuesday, 30th June

Farewell Morning • Departure

This final morning is about reflection and connection. Over a last breakfast, we look back on early mornings, golden evenings and unforgettable moments in the streets of Paris. You leave not only with stronger images and new skills, but with fresh inspiration, lasting memories and connections that extend beyond the workshop. Paris may fade behind you, but the stories you captured — and the way you now see light — will stay with you.

What Gear to Bring on Your Paris Photo Workshop?

Get ready to capture the timeless elegance of Paris — from the first soft light at sunrise around the Eiffel Tower to glowing blue-hour reflections along the Seine. Travel light, but choose your gear thoughtfully. A versatile wide-angle lens such as a 12–14 mm or 16–35 mm is perfect for grand architecture and sweeping city views, complemented by a 24–70 mm for classic Parisian scenes and refined details. A 70–200 mm adds beautiful compression for more distant perspectives, and for the sunset shoot from the Montparnasse Tower, a longer reach like a 100–300 mm or 100–400 mm can be especially rewarding.

A compact yet sturdy travel tripod is ideal for early mornings and evening sessions, while shooting handheld during the day keeps you flexible as the city comes alive. And don’t forget to bring plenty of memory cards — Paris has a way of offering far more iconic moments than you ever expect.
