Autumn Photography Workshop
– London 2026 –

From Royal Landmarks to Victorian Streets – An Unforgettable 7-Day London Photography Experience

Experience London during the most photogenic season of the year — autumn, with warm tones, soft light and magical blue-hour glows over the Thames.
This fully guided photography week brings you to both the iconic landmarks and the hidden gems of London. Perfect for anyone passionate about cityscape, architectural, street and night photography.

You’ll capture sunrise, sunset and blue-hour moments every day, explore famous locations from the best angles, and take part in practical editing sessions to elevate your storytelling.

Description

London in autumn is a city of contrasts: golden morning light brushing against centuries-old architecture, mist drifting between historic buildings, red buses racing through neon-lit streets, and blue-hour reflections shimmering on the Thames like liquid gold. It is a season that transforms the British capital into a cinematic wonderland, and a paradise for photographers who love atmosphere, mood and storytelling.

Over the course of seven inspiring days, this workshop takes you far beyond the postcard views. We guide you to the best sunrise locations, the hidden alleys of Victorian London, reflective riverside paths, panoramic skyline viewpoints and colourful neighbourhoods that feel lifted from a film set.

Whether we’re shooting the warm glow behind Big Ben, capturing long exposures along Tower Bridge, or exploring soft night tones in Notting Hill, every moment is crafted to help you see London with new eyes.

The rhythm of the workshop is immersive but never rushed.

Mornings are spent chasing soft golden light across bridges and landmark silhouettes. Afternoons bring relaxed editing sessions where you learn how to transform your images into polished, atmospheric cityscapes with cinematic depth. Evenings open up to the magic of London’s blue hour — when the whole city glows, lights reflect on wet pavements, and the energy becomes electric.

Throughout the week, you’ll receive personal guidance tailored to your level, whether you're just beginning your photography journey or already working at a professional standard. We focus on improving your sense of composition, your mastery of light, your technical control, and most importantly, your ability to create images that feel like stories.

This workshop is more than a photography trip — it’s a chance to slow down, observe, connect and create. You’ll wander iconic locations with intention, discover quieter corners full of character, and share the experience with a small group of passionate, like-minded photographers who quickly become friends.

By the end of the journey, you’ll take home not only a portfolio of images that capture the soul of London, but also a renewed sense of creativity, confidence and artistic direction. The city will stay with you long after the trip ends — in your heart, in your memories, and in every image you create going forward.

It’s your first glimpse of how magical this week will be — a moment that sets the tone for everything that follows.

Day 2 – Tuesday, 29th September

Big Ben sunrise • St Paul’s Cathedral sunset

Morning – Sunrise at Big Ben The day begins early, with the quiet streets guiding you toward the river. You explore hidden viewpoints, reflect the tower in puddles, and feel the thrill of being in exactly the right place at exactly the right time. Afternoon – Editing Session Back indoors, you see your first images come alive. It’s exciting to learn how subtle adjustments can turn a good photo into one filled with atmosphere and intention — the kind of images you’ll be proud to share. Evening – St Paul’s Cathedral St Paul’s in the evening has a presence you feel the moment you arrive. Light fades slowly behind the dome, reflections appear on nearby surfaces, and the area becomes wonderfully photogenic. You experiment with shadows, lines and stillness, discovering new ways to translate one of London’s most iconic buildings into your own visual story.

Day 3 – Wednesday, 30th September

Tower Bridge Sunrise • Westminster Sunset

Morning – Tower Bridge Tower Bridge at sunrise is an experience worth waking early for. You watch the city stretch awake, the sky shifting through soft colours that complement the bridge’s architecture perfectly. With long exposures, calm water and a gentle morning breeze, the scene feels cinematic in a quiet, understated way. Afternoon – Editing Deep Dive This session deepens your skills and gives you the confidence to refine your own artistic direction. You begin to recognise your evolving style — a truly exhilarating moment for any photographer. You experiment freely, capturing moments that feel both timeless and unmistakably “London.”

Morning – Blue Hour at Piccadilly Piccadilly Circus offers an energy entirely its own. Neon lights glow against the early sky, traffic leaves colourful trails, and the city pulses with life. Photographing this scene is exciting — a chance to play with movement, contrast and the dynamic personality of London. Afternoon – Editing Session In the afternoon, you uncover how to shape and refine the vibrant tones you captured. The learning curve feels rewarding and empowering. Evening – Victorian London As daylight fades, we explore quieter streets where Victorian architecture, soft lamplight and narrow alleys create a gently dramatic setting.
